It's important to call us before any work starts so we can guide you through the process. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you get in touch.

Don't authorise any repair work before speaking to us — it can invalidate your claim.

  1. 01.Give us a call

    Call our claims team before any repair work starts. We collect everything we need on the phone — including where the vehicle is and whether it can be driven.

  2. 02.Repairer allocated

    Your repair is allocated to a garage within our nationwide repair network, or you can use any VAT-registered garage you trust.

  3. 03.Diagnosis

    The repairer diagnoses the fault and the underlying cause, then sends us a short report.

  4. 04.Decision

    Once we have everything we need, we confirm whether the repair is covered by your warranty.

  5. 05.What to do next

    We'll let you know our decision straight away and explain exactly what happens next.

  6. 06.Complete

    Once repairs are finished we pay the garage directly for parts, labour and VAT, and send you a final copy of the repair details.

A few important notes

  • Always call us before authorising any repair work — we can't reimburse work we haven't approved.
  • Report any fault within 14 days of discovering it.
  • Keep your servicing up to date in line with the manufacturer schedule. Service receipts may be requested.
